
Robert Paine Hoyer Curtiss
Robert P. H. Curtiss graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan University in 1967 with a degree in Psychology and Economics and began working as a real estate broker in New York City. Shortly thereafter he received a draft notice for the Army. Instead, he enlisted in the US Army Officers Candidate Program. He served as a lieutenant in an artillery unit in Germany from 1968-70.
He was promoted to captain and served with the 1st Cavalry as an Air Mobile Artillery unit commander in Vietnam from 1970-71 and retired from the Army at the end of his tour.
Robert had a career in corporate real estate with AT&T and served as a consultant in facility management for colleges and universities. He retired in 2013 and lives in New Jersey.
