At our scholarship appreciation luncheon, students shared how this support is opening doors and shaping their future.

Rotary President Robbie Davis reminded students: “We need our young people to stay in Nash County and give back to the community.”

We recently welcomed 40 new members into our Black Student Association (BSA) during the annual Induction Ceremony, a celebration of leadership, heritage & belonging!

The evening was filled with powerful words, music & inspiration from students, faculty and community leaders who reminded us of the beauty of diversity & the strength in togetherness.

Inductions and participation are inclusive of all students of all races and backgrounds.

Since 2016, Rotary has provided scholarship support to help ease the financial burden of higher education.

This year, 15 Wesleyan students received awards ranging from $2,000–$3,000, empowering them to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Our international Bishops recently partnered with Rocky Mount Academy for their annual International Week, bringing cultures from around the world right into the classroom! 🌎🌍🌏

Students from Ireland, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia, France, and Jordan shared stories, traditions, and personal experiences with RMA’s 3rd & 4th graders, inspiring curiosity, kindness & global awareness in our community’s young learners.

This collaboration, led by Renee Barbour, RMA’s Director of Global Awareness, and NCWU’s Director of International Student Services, Dawn Turner, is part of an ongoing partnership that celebrates cultural exchange & connection!
