👋Meet Judie Taylor, Graphic Designer in our Marketing and Communications Department! 🎨✨ Recently, Judie joined the career panel at Faith Christian School’s Career Fest, sharing her inspiring journey from high school to her design career today. When asked what advice she’d give to aspiring designers, she offered a valuable perspective:

“Get comfortable with feedback and embrace it as part of the creative process. Art is subjective, and not everyone will love your work right away—that’s okay! It doesn’t mean you’ve done anything wrong or lack talent. Feedback, whether from a professor, client, or team member, is an opportunity to make your designs stronger and reach the next level.”📊

Outside of the office, Judie keeps things exciting—she’s always traveling, playing pickleball, roller skating, reading, and binge-watching all the latest shows. 🎬✈️🛼

Dr. Elias and his students have kicked off “The Swale” Project, a hands-on green infrastructure initiative sponsored by Easyflyers 🌳

The team is transforming an urban ditch into a lush, vegetated swale that will help manage stormwater, reduce erosion, and feature native plants. Through this project, students gain real-world experience, conducting water quality assessments and monitoring ecosystem health - all while making a positive impact on the environment 🌍🌿
