#BishopAlumniNews for your day! Congratulations to Major Eddie Moore '09 on his graduation from the FBI National Academy's 295th Session last week! We are proud of Major Moore and his hard work serving the citizens of Nash County, which also means keeping our University safe! 💛The Nash County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that Major Eddie Moore has officially graduated from the FBI National Academy Session 295 last week in Quantico, Virginia. The FBI National Academy is one of the most prestigious law enforcement leadership programs in the world. Established in 1935, the National Academy brings together select law enforcement leaders from across the United States and around the globe. Fewer than 1% of officers have the honor of being selected and attending. The 10-week program provides advanced leadership, communication, and fitness training, along with opportunities to collaborate with law enforcement professionals worldwide. Two-hundred and fifty-four law enforcement officers graduated on September 4th from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. The 295th session of the National Academy consisted of men and women from 49 states and the District of Columbia. The class also included 22 members of law enforcement agencies from 20 countries, 10 members of six military organizations, and four members of federal civilian organizations. Major Moore’s graduation represents not only a personal achievement, but also a significant milestone for the Nash County Sheriff’s Office as we continue to grow and strengthen our leadership for the future. Please join us in congratulating Major Moore on this tremendous accomplishment! 👏👏 ...
