Campus Worship

NC Wesleyan provides numerous opportunities for weekly student worship on campus.  The Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosts a worship service every Monday night at 8:00 pm during the academic year in the Leon Russell Chapel.  The FCA events feature local speakers and the FCA’s own talented praise band, 301.  One need not be a student-athlete to attend; all students, staff, and faculty are welcome.

On Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm, also in the chapel, Refuge Campus Ministry invites the Wesleyan community to join in with their praise team and enjoy both singing and preaching.

3W Ministries welcomes all Battling Bishops to their Wednesday evening worship services in the Flex-Lab at 7:00 pm.  3W develops individuals by teaching the Word of God which produces Worship through relationship with Christ & Works based in faith! Enjoy in-depth teaching and open, relevant conversations.

There are also Bible studies on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 12 noon in the Leon Russell Chapel. A simple bible study to help students grow and wrestle with their faith.

Each of these campus ministries is diverse and inclusive. There are also numerous other opportunities for worship throughout the year, including orientation, Homecoming, pregame gatherings for athletic teams, seasonal services during Lent and Advent, Christian concerts, and weekly observances of Holy Communion.  While most of these events take place in the Leon Russell Chapel, others may occur in the Powers Recital Hall and Minges Auditorium, both located in the Dunn Center.
