Come celebrate the beginning of the Come out and experience NC Wesleyan’s beautiful campus while kicking off the Christmas and holiday season at Wesleyan by enjoying the 20th annual Lighting of Wesleyan. This FREE community event will include:

• Christmas Crafts
• Christmas/Holiday Market
• S’mores
• Hayrides
• Inflatables
• Hot Beverages
• Concessions
• Music
• FREE admission to The Life & Art of Charles Schulz Exhibit at the Dunn Center (6-8pm only)
• And the big guy himself, Santa!

When: Friday, November 14, 2025, 6 to 8 PM

Where: NC Wesleyan Campus, on the Southern Bank Green

Take a stroll through the University commons and enjoy a large collection of Christmas lights, inflatables and luminaries that line the campus sidewalks. Hayrides will begin and end at the clock in the center of campus. Guests will have an opportunity to be dropped off at the front of campus to view the lit, 12-foot Christmas tree and wander through the front lawn luminaries and Christmas inflatables. 

In addition, we will have a Holiday Market with vendors. So, for those who sell baked goods, crafts, hand-made items, art, anything Christmas/Holiday related, etc., please come out and be part of the festivities. Contact Allison Moss at amoss@ncwu.edu for more information and to sign up.

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase to help support our athletic programs. Also, be sure to stick around for a surprise visit as Santa and his elf make their grand entrance on a fire truck. Other characters will be mingling with the crowd as well.
