During the ceremony, each student is presented with a white coat—a symbol of professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care. Surrounded by faculty, family, and peers, students recite ceremonial and integrity oath, reaffirming their dedication to ethical and empathetic nursing.

This event not only honors the hard work and dedication of our nursing students but also highlights the values that define the Wesleyan nursing program: integrity, service, and excellence in care.

Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.

Join us as we begin our annual giving campaign to support NCWU students.

For over 45 years, Wesleyan University has hosted a fall fundraising event to support its academic programs and student initiatives. Originally known as A Day for Wesleyan, the campaign was rebranded in 2019 as the Wesleyan Promise Campaign under Interim President Dr. Evan D. Duff. This year, the campaign returns to its roots with a renewed focus on engaging alumni, corporate partners, and the broader community.

On Thursday, October 9 2025, Wesleyan will host the 5th Annual Sporting Clays fundraising event at one of the finest clay shooting courses in the state, Rose Hill Farm Sporting Clays and Hunting Preserve in Nashville, NC.  All proceeds from this event will support various efforts to help Wesleyan students in their journey for lifelong learning and achievement as they prepare to make a difference in the communities where they’ll live and serve.

This has been accomplished by a  steady and  consistent cast of talented professional musicians, who painstakingly recreate the look, feel and note for note sound of an actual LIVE Beatles performance.

Wesleyan Society members are encouraged to join us for an evening with the Beatles Tribute Band, “1964- The Tribute” as they take the stage in the Dunn Center. Special event includes a Christmas Social before the concert so come early and enjoy the festivities.

The current cast members of the Emmy-nominated TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway? are proud to present their new improv tour: WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY?

WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participation is key to the show so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage! WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show as well as some exciting new ones, featuring musical direction by Laura Hall. All ages are welcomed, but please note that some “PG-13” language will be used during the performance.

For Nirvani – A Nirvana Tribute Experience, it’s much more than simply being a tribute band. It’s about paying homage to a golden era in music and the unique atmosphere Nirvana contributed to that era. Nirvani embodies Cobain, Novoselic, and Grohl in their talent and authenticity. Each band member is dedicated to portraying both the appearance and playing styles of their Nirvana counterparts. This combined with their use of authentic vintage instruments makes Nirvani a live tribute concert experience that leaves audiences simultaneously satisfied and longing for more.
