I was born in Snow Hill, NC.

Why did you choose to work at NCWU?
During my time at East Carolina University, I obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree and gained experience through internships and graduate assistantships. One of my duties as a graduate assistant was to work closely with undergraduate and graduate students, which I enjoyed. Those professional experiences allowed me to make wonderful connections with students and professors. I chose North Carolina Wesleyan University because of the welcoming and supportive community that is here, which allows staff to build strong relationships with all students.

What’s your Favorite eastern NC activity?
My favorite thing to do in eastern North Carolina is to try new restaurants

What’s your Tip(s) for incoming students?
College can be challenge at times but always remembers that you have a supportive community at NCWU that will guide you through it. Remember to always try your best and build relationships with your peers and professors.
