Adjunct Faculty Positions (Adult & Professional Studies Programs)


Adult & Professional Studies courses are generally offered in an 8 week or 5 week, accelerated format through evening classes. Instructors interested in applying should submit an Adjunct Faculty Application and copies of transcripts directly to the Academic Affairs Executive Assistant for consideration.

Adjunct faculty instructors must have a minimum qualification of a Master’s Degree with 18 semester hours of graduate work in the subject area they are interested in teaching to be considered; a PhD in the subject field is highly desirable.

The Wilmington Adult and Professional Studies of North Carolina Wesleyan University expects to have future teaching needs for adjunct faculty in the following areas of study:

  • Math

Applicants MUST have at least 18 graduate hours in the subject field of study that they would be teaching.  Prior teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.  To apply please submit requested materials to:
