Celebrating Your Past.
Honoring The Present.
Inspiring Our Future.
What is the Golden Bishops Circle?
North Carolina Wesleyan University has a unique alumni society called the Golden Bishops Circle (GBC) to honor alumni who have commemorated 50 years or more since graduation and celebrate the College’s past.
The GBC’s mission is to connect alumni, share common stories and memories, as well as to inform, educate and engage with NC Wesleyan University. Members are vital to keeping the College’s history and future alive, and all are invited to participate in the future of Wesleyan.
Membership is comprised of NC Wesleyan University alumni who have commemorated 50 years or more since graduating. When alumni celebrate their 50th Class Reunion… as some may refer to as “their Golden Reunion” … they will be inducted into the GBC, thus becoming a Golden Bishop. Enrollment is automatic and there is no annual cost.
Membership Benefits:
Golden Bishops Circle members enjoy access to unique invitations and other privileges, including:
- Special Invitation to the Annual Founders’ Day Ceremony and Graduation
- Special Invitation to alumni gatherings and GBC gatherings
- Designated GBC tailgating/gathering area at Homecoming
- Access to certain sporting events free of charge
- GBC member discounts on regularly priced merchandise in the Campus Bookstore
- WESmagazine (published twice a year)
- Bishop Beat E-Newsletter (published monthly)
